Joel Dietz wrote his first book at age 8 about a boy who traveled to alien worlds and then had to re-integrate with human society. He then became a game designer. He was especially impressed by Nomic. He also won a scholarship to study computer science at a local college at age 13 and was a founding member of Ethereum including starting notable initatives in the Ethereum world including the first academic work on cryptoeconomics, the first DAO (Swarm) and coming up with the concept, team, and funding for Metamask (originally an open source project that was then privatized by Consensys). Joel Dietz also has a long tradition of writing essays and poetry, which at this point amount to several thousand pages of work, most of this is distributed through private listservs, although there are a few works public on amazon.
